IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and optimization of various software systems and platforms, supporting both internal teams and external users. The role requires strong technical proficiency, communication skills, and a collaborative approach to align IT processes with broader company workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

* Software Updates & Maintenance: Ensure regular software updates, patches, and maintenance are carried out across systems, keeping them secure and functional.

* User Administration: Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions across various platforms including Gmail, Monday.com, and Cadence/CLMS/Factorsoft.

* VPN Management: Oversee and maintain VPN services to ensure secure and reliable remote access for all employees.

* Batch/Script Writing: Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiencies.

* SQL Querying: Conduct basic to intermediate SQL query operations, modifying databases and performing SQL jiggles as needed for data management and reporting.

* SFTP File Transfers: Manage secure file transfers (SFTP), ensuring timely and accurate data exchange between systems.

* Collaborate with IT Team: Work closely with other IT professionals to integrate workflows, streamlining processes and data flow.

* Equipment Requests & Field Support: Handle equipment procurement and provide field support for remote or on-site technical issues.

* Jack Henry Support/Ticket Management: Manage support tickets for the Jack Henry system, providing first-level support or escalation as needed.

* Cadence Report Writing & Scheduling: Create and schedule reports within Cadence to ensure relevant stakeholders have access to timely data.

* Software Implementation & Support: Assist with the implementation of new software and provide ongoing support to ensure systems are fully operational.

* Software Stack Management: Maintain a working knowledge of the organization's software stack, overseeing contract renewals, licensing, and updates.

Ideal Candidate:

* Windows OS Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including setup, troubleshooting, and system administration.

* SQL: Ability to perform basic to intermediate SQL queries and modifications.

* Networking Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of networking principles, with the ability to troubleshoot and navigate network-related issues.

* Good Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.

* Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple IT projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of initiatives.

Preferred Experience:

* Experience with SFTP, VPN management, Gmail administration, and Monday.com.

* Previous exposure to software implementation and support, particularly in a fast-paced business environment.

* Familiarity with CRM systems and other business software platforms.

* Experience with report writing software - particularly Microsoft Report Builder - is a plus.

* Previous experience with factoring (FactorSoft/Cadence), banking, or financial systems is also a plus
