Overview
We are currently seeking skilled Ship Crane Operators for our Stevedoring and/or Cargo Handling operations. The purpose of this position is to accurately and safely discharge and/or offload vessels in port in the most efficient ways possible. We uphold the highest safety standardsand seek to employ like-minded operators.
Details:
* Scheduling:
* Operators can expect shift work type scheduling including nights and weekends as needed.
* Compensation and Benefits:
* $26-$28/hr. Based on experience

Responsibilities
* Safely operate Ship to Shore Cranes
* Safe and knowledgeable operation of equipment
* Inspection of equipment for defect or damage before and after operation
* Assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment to safety standards
* Discharge Vessels promptly
* Attentive to operations and surroundings
* Follow scheduling and production goals set by management
* Work as a team to meet, achieve, and exceed goals when possible
Qualifications
* 6 months minimum experience with Ship Crane Operation or similar.
* Must possess valid relevant crane training certification if you do not have work experience. This includes Gantry Crane, GL/GLE, or K4 Crane Training.
* Understanding and knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used for Crane Operation.
* Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English
* Ability to obtain a TWIC card (for more information visit the TSA website on TWIC requirements)
* Valid US driver's license

* As a port employer our team is subject to working in all weather conditions including extreme heat and harsh winters. We work in all weather conditions.
* All employees must pass a background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical and be able to obtain a valid TWIC card within a specified period of hire.
