This position is to be part of a team that provides 24/7/365 security coverage. The security guard reports to the Director of Security.Essential Responsibilities*

Patrol the campus, conducting safety and security checks.* Reports and investigates any suspicious people or vehicles.* Responds to student requests for assistance.* Summons police or ambulance when appropriate for incidents that occur on campus.* Monitor surveillance cameras.Work EnvironmentThe work environment consists of a blend between a typical of a normal office environment and walking outside around campus. A portion of job is performed while sitting, although the work may require standing or walking and/or the lifting and carrying of small objects.Spiritual RequirementsAll employees must be openly committed followers of Christ and sign the UVF Community Covenant.Qualifications and Abilities*
