Job Description and DutiesTHIS IS A RE-ADVERTISEMENT FOR SECURITY GUARD. IF YOU PREVIOUSLY APPLIED FOR JC-447344, YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT ANOTHER APPLICATION, AS YOU WILL STILL BE CONSIDERED.Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Student Life, make rounds of inspection at fixed or varied intervals and secure CSDR buildings, equipment, and property. Patrol CSDR property. Writes reports and ensures the log records are updated and documented. Prevents damage to State property. Prevents trespassing on the campus by unauthorized persons. Assists CSDR staff and the Fire Department during fire alarms including directing fire department to the affected area and or resetting alarms. Control traffic around the buses, assisting buses/drivers in safe procedures around students, be visible to students and adults in the areas during the arrival of residential students returning to the school; respond to calls, voice and text messages from staff and stakeholders in a prompt manner. Escorts or transports ill or injured students to the infirmary. Investigates unusual conditions.
