Evans Roofing Company, a leader in the commercial roofing industry for over 40 years, is seeking a Corporate Risk Specialist to ensure the safety, health, and environmental compliance of our operations. In this role, you'll collaborate with project managers to develop detailed safety plans, conductthorough inspections across multiple sites, and build a team atmosphere with our associates that foster safety awareness and compliance. Training is a priority at Evans Roofing Company. The Corporate Risk Specialist will play a vital role in presenting important information to our associates annually.   • Collaborate with project managers to develop tailored safety plans for large or complex projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections of shops, yards, offices, and job sites, ensuring adherence to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Help design programs that boost safety awareness, compliance, and employee recognition.
  • Lead safety and health training sessions for various internal divisions.
  • Manage computer programs and data entry related to safety compliance.
  • Actively promote and uphold our core values of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead by example, adhering to and enforcing all safety policies and procedures, while supporting the company's overall safety goals.
  • Maintain a weight below 300 lbs. (including clothing and gear) to comply with fall protection and access regulations for roofing sites.
Position Requirements:
  • Preferred experience in commercial construction.
  • Solid knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays, and work extended hours as needed.
