Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will assist our biotech / pharma clients in collecting and negotiating quotes from CROs, CDMOs and CMOs. You will leverage your industry expertise to facilitate efficient and cost-effective outsourcing solutions, ensuring our clients receive optimal value and service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with pharma clients to understand their outsourcing needs and project requirements.
  • Quote Management: Collect, analyze, and compare quotes from multiple service providers.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide insights on procurement best practices and industry trends.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with CROs, CDMOs and CMOs to stay updated on their capabilities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to integrate procurement processes into our platform.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement within the pharma or biotech industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of CROs, CDMOs and CMOs, including services and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and compare complex proposals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in pharma outsourcing.
