Summary of Position
Assist and support the Associate Dean of Dual Credit Programs in administrative, clerical, and outreach needs for the Early College HS program. Duties will include, but are not limited to: enrollment management; data entry, dual credit documentation review and processing, ISD outreach, initiating requisitions, maintaining calendars, answering student inquiries.
Minimum Required Education
High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred. A copy of certificates and/or college transcripts is required with application for evaluation purposes.
Minimum Required Experience
High school diploma or GED required. Four years wage earning clerical experience, or certification / successful completion of relevant trade school and one year wage earning clerical experience. A copy of certificates and/or college transcripts required with application for evaluation purposes.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to learn Colleague Student Application system;
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, in particular;
Ability to operate Avaya Telephone System: Phone Mail in particular
Knowledge of Dual Credit procedures; admissions, residency requirements and knowledge of Texas Success Initiative
Ability to review, and run enrollment reports; and proficient in analyzing large amounts of data
Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by telephone
Ability to Operate independently; research knowledge needed to accomplish assignments;
Possess great problem-solving skills and critical thinking with discernment.
Ability to learn and adapt in a changing environment with high levels of stress
