2+ years of experience as an Automotive Parts Specialist$20-28 per hour!Monday through Friday!We are seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team in Farmingdale, NY. Our shop has been serving the community since 1991 and has built a reputation for honesty, ethics, and high-quality service. We service medium to heavy duty trucks and a variety of domestic, Asian, Euro, and hybrid vehicles.Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and technicians in selecting and locating the correct automotive parts for repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering parts inquiries both in-person and over the phone.
- Utilize automotive parts catalogs and other resources to identify correct parts for various vehicles, including trucks and cars.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the parts department.
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Keep up-to-date with new automotive products, tools, and trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Parts Specialist.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts for both cars and trucks (diesel and gas).
- Ability to identify and source parts quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience working with diesel truck parts is a plus.
- Interest in growing with our company and taking on additional opportunities over time
Compensation:
- Hourly pay: $20-28, based on experience and skill level.
