Insight Globals large renewable energy client is looking for a Site Manager for their Bull Hill Wind Farm in Franklin, Maine! The Site Manager for Bull Hill Wind will oversee daily operations of the 34 MW wind facility, managing a team of technicians and ensuring proper maintenance of wind turbines and related equipment. Working closely with the Regional Manager, they will be responsible for technician scheduling, training, safety compliance, and budget adherence, while also serving as the primary liaison with local communities. The role involves extensive troubleshooting of turbine issues, implementing safety protocols that meet the companys HSSE requirements, and coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and specialty maintenance crews. The Site Manager will train technicians in component assembly, commissioning, maintenance, and repair procedures, while also overseeing proper safety gear usage and energy source control. Working with Operations Support, they will maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities, manage inventory of tools and spare parts, and ensure swift response to emergencies and outages. Additionally, they will collaborate with Performance Engineering to monitor asset performance, maintain regulatory compliance, and prevent environmental incidents while supporting both internal and external reporting requirements. Required Skills & Experience Must Haves: - 8+ years of experience in the Wind Energy industry - Experience with wind turbines and related power plant systems - Experience with Vestas V100-1.8 MW turbines or similar turbine models - At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role overseeing technical, operations, or maintenance employees - Good understanding of electrical schematic drawings, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations - Siemens experience - Hydraulics systems experience - Valid drivers license Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
