Salary = $16.00 - $19.00 depending on Experience and Qualifications.

Position Summary:
Provides technical expertise and manual skill in the inspection, servicing, and repair of the buildings, grounds, equipment, and furnishings.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
* Performs basic routine building repair and maintenance, including but not limited to: drywall, painting, plumbing, and light carpentry.
* Documents project status and completions.
* Responds to emergency situations for evening and weekend call-outs.
* Provides reasonable care and maintenance and assumes accountability for assigned, issued and/or checked-out tools, equipment and/or vehicles.
* Performs all activities in accordance with the latest job safety practices.
* Maintain work areas, equipment and tools in proper order and with care.
* Adhere to agency policies and procedures
* All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
* High school or GED required. Graduation from an accredited technical/vocational program or school preferred.
* Three (3) years' experience in maintenance and/or construction.
* Working knowledge of methods, materials, tools and practices used in plumbing, carpentry and electrical trades.
* Knowledge of standard practices, processes and material involved in trades related to building maintenance.
* Ability to quickly troubleshoot maintenance issues.
* Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC/electrical systems, boilers, and power generators.
* Strong judgment and reasoning abilities.
* Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with employees, customers, vendors and tenants.
* Ability to work extended hours and be on-call, as needed.
* Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word; have the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a safe manner.
* Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.
