The IT Helpdesk Administrator leads the NRHN helpdesk, assists on-site and remote staff with the use of technology tools used throughout the Hospital, responds to service requests and, resolves problems as they arise. Under the direction of the IT Manager the analyst will plan and coordinate the configuration, setup, update and upgrade of computing devices peripherals and phones, maintain an inventory of NRHN hardware, installed software, manage software license inventories and, contribute to other actions and projects assigned. In addition, they are responsible to registering and decommissioning user accounts, assigning proper access to various information resources and applications and supporting general daily IT operation. The IT Helpdesk Administrator will act as the primary back up the IT Systems Administrator and assist with managing, monitoring network activity, along with, investigating and troubleshooting items related to network servers and security and ensuring the NRHN infrastructure remains secure and robust. This position requires a team centric individual able to work in a fast-paced environment and can communicate in a courteous and effective manner. The analyst will be required to travel to all hospital locations as needed. To qualify you must...# Bachelor#s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred, equivalent experience and education will be considered. Experience in healthcare and Information Technology industry preferred. Experience should include IT customer service, PC hardware and software configuration. Demonstrated track record of successful interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently.
