Administrative Assistant | New Albany, INA well-established full-service public accounting and business consulting firm, serving public companies, private businesses, and not-for-profits is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. Their mission is to help clients achieve success by providing valuable insights for business growth, future planning, and financial stability.Responsibilities:Process client federal and state tax returns, including preparing government copies for filing and binding client copiesAssist in preparing client financial statements by proofreading, reviewing footings, and ensuring proper formatting, as well as binding the final copiesScan and save client files into the firm's document management softwareType business correspondence and format client financial statements using Word and ExcelAssist with annual document destruction according to firm record retention policiesCoordinate daily outgoing mail, including post office runs and pickupsProvide coverage for other administrative roles during breaks and absences, including occasionally supporting office locationsFollow and promote firm policies and proceduresRequirements:2+ years of prior experience in an administrative support roleStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPositive attitude and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAdherence to firm confidentiality policiesProficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook (preferred)
