Position summary:
The Administrative Assistant 1 will be responsible for customer support, estimating & quoting print jobs, establishing job tickets, finishing and packaging jobs, and delivering jobs to the Campus Store. In addition the position will serve as a backup for other staff and provide essential communication to team members and clients.
Position responsibilities:
* Manage incoming calls and customer service inquires
* Able to multi-task, prioritize
* Manage quoting in Printsmith and generate customer estimates and job tickets.
* Assist in accounts receivable efforts and communications with customers.
* Oversee and manage the online ordering and online store processes.
* Assess customer's design & job needs and direct job appropriately.
* Effectively communicate and build relationships with customers through email, phone, and face-face communications.
* Serve as liaison between the college faculty/staff and printshop personnel.
* Communicate effectively with different types of people and personalities.
* Manage time effectively.
* Serve as backup or provide assistance for print operators as needed.
* Manage product packaging and delivery to Campus Store.
* Provide customer support regarding details of their orders and estimates.
* Other duties as assigned
Minimum Position Requirements:
* Experience working with digital printers
* Basic knowledge of print processes
* Basic understanding of standard & metric measurements
* Experience with Microsoft Outlook and managing multiple mailboxes and folders
* Experience with managing multiple schedules
* Basic MS Excel knowledge and work with spreadsheets
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule
* Must be a problem solver: someone who is not afraid to ask questions and help find solutions to optimize our everyday tasks.
* Must be comfortable in a fast moving, higher stresses position managing multiple workflows and projects at one time.
* Must be able to stand for extended time periods and lift up to 50lbs

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
* Work is normally performed in an office and production work environment.
* Physical effort required; the employee must occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds

* Compensation for this 12-month position is $30,914
