Job: Wire Harness Assembly Tech Location: Kirkland, WA Responsibilities: - Has intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft hydraulic-electrical accessory components.
- Repair, modify, replace or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance on hydraulic-electrical
- accessory components.
- Disassemble, inspect and reassemble hydraulic-electrical aircraft accessory components
- Utilize OEM technical data and Engineering drawings to modify components as required.
- Test aircraft hydraulic / electrical accessory components
- Troubleshoot hydraulic / electrical aircraft accessory components
- Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and
- leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise.
- Complete job assignments in a timely manner.
- Complete on-the-job-training (OJT) forms and required reading.
- Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other
- specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification. Conduct
- operational tests.
Required Experience: - Airframe and/or Power plant License and level of skill customarily acquired after two years as a General
- Mechanic, or
- Three years of related commercial / military aircraft experience, or
- Two years of experience as apprentice mechanic working at NTA on commercial accessory components,
- or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Education: - High School education or equivalent
