To learn more about Rig Technologies products and services, please visit us at JOB SUMMARY Assemble and package mechanical parts in preparation for shipment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assemble all basic expendable mechanical products.
  • Create sealing surface on spherical parts by lapping.
  • Inspect cosmetically for mis-machined parts, damaged parts & any other abnormalities.
  • Ensure all products are assembled using the correct components per bill of material .
  • Maintain equipment & work area in a clean & orderly condition.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability to work with heavy equipment.
  • Capability to learn on the job and apply.
  • Assists with the cleanliness of the Drawworks area.
  • Basic understanding of Drawworks production and FAT procedures.
  • Ensures availability of material on assembly floor for all capital builds.
  • Assembles and installs either electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic components.
  • Performs other work-related tasks as assigned by the Drawworks Supervisor.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Reads and writes in English.
  • Two-years of previous warehouse experience.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Limited (less than 5%) travel.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40-hours.
  • Exposed to loud noise while in the warehouse.
  • Exposed to moving parts while on the shop floor.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime, when needed.
  • Exposed to occasional hot and / or cold weather depending on outside climate conditions and warehouse temperature since the shop floor is neither airconditioned nor heated.
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
  • Attention to detail.
  • Wears proper PPE while in the warehouse.
  • Communicates well with other employees.
  • Works well alone and in team environments.
  • Able to read and understand all JHA's in English.
  • Adheres to facilities safety policies and attends all monthly safety training.
  • Attends all Human Resource directed training via classroom, iComply, or HUB Learning.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
  • Operates both JIB and Overhead cranes.
  • Must be able to safety lift up to 45 pounds.
  • Uses office copier to scan and copy documentation.
  • Wears a Fall Protection Harness when performing work at heights.
  • Uses company software to include: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Writes, sends, and receives Emails to internal Customers / NOV Employees.
  • May operate the Class II & IV Forklifts (Hyster 50-170 & Order Picker / Manlift / Reach truck).
