23rd October, 2024Position Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and manage our production processes, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in line with strict quality standards. The role involves coaching and developing team members to meet production goals while maintaining cost efficiency. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with occasional flexibility for weekend shifts when necessary. Key Responsibilities:
- Apply core business knowledge to prioritize tasks and meet organizational goals.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Foster interdepartmental collaboration to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Proactively develop and implement action plans to address production needs.
- Represent the company positively within the community and uphold its reputation.
- Mentor and coach employees, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Align team and individual objectives with company strategies, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Lead process improvements, encouraging innovation and adopting new methods.
- Build and lead high-performance teams, providing feedback and coaching for enhanced performance.
- Make key decisions regarding recruitment, promotions, and employee development to strengthen team leadership.
- Identify and resolve any food safety or quality concerns to maintain production standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attendance and punctuality during designated shift hours is essential.
