Position Summary The returns associate serves a critical role in Connect Americas' day to day business function. The person in this role processes a large quantity of received Medical Alert devices and ensures that the incoming inventory is handled safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment. New and returned equipment as well as literature and accessories will be received. Returned equipment will be refurbished. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Check received goods for accuracy and ensure that the general incomings and outgoings within a warehouse are handled efficiently. Record receipts within Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Assist in unloading trucks and determining safe ways of stacking and retrieving items in a safe manner
  • Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the warehouse
  • Assist in physically moving incoming items to designated storage areas
  • Record damaged or defective items and replace them according to company policies
  • Maintain records of returned devices-process within the system
  • Perform other assigned duties and tasks necessary. This may include but is not limited to prepping paperwork and boxes, programming units and shipping orders to clients.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time while ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail
  • Understand quality standards for work and represents company in a positive light
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, Internet, and web tools
  • Ability to set goals and meet deadlines
  • Ability to accept direction, positively respond to urgent task requests, and ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Must be able to remain in a standing stationary position for sustained periods of time
  • Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position 50%
  • Must be able to regularly position self to lift or package totes or boxes at flow level
  • Must be able to consistently inspect and prepare small details of company devices, and perform regular repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and fingers
