Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Selector Shift: 2nd and 3rd Shift Available Pay Rate: $20.49/hr. Job Summary: The Warehouse Selector is responsible for accurately selecting and stacking products for customer orders, loading and unloading trailers, and restocking products within the warehouse. This role requires working in various temperature zones, including freezers, coolers, and dry storage areas, while operating material handling equipment (MHE) to move palletized products into storage. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and stack products on carts or pallets based on order specifications
- Load and unload trailers, strip trailers, and restock products within the warehouse
- Utilize voice systems for order selection and ensure proper product placement in staging areas
- Wrap, label, and prepare products for shipment
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move and store palletized products
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to overall warehouse upkeep
- Work efficiently across varying temperature zones (freezer, cooler, dry storage)
- Productively use downtime to assist with other warehouse tasks
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Assist with any other duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts, including weekends and various shifts as needed
- Experience in a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment
- Familiarity with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. (Training provided)
- Ability to lift and move heavy products, up to [specified weight]
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with voice-directed systems
- Ability to work in multi-temperature zones (freezer, cooler, dry storage)
