Job Description :

Job Summary: The Civil Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of the construction team, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations. The Civil Foreman will also be responsible for ensuring that quality standards are met and that projects are completed to the satisfaction of the client. Duties and responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers, including laborers, equipment operators, and skilled tradespeople.
  • Plan and schedule work to meet project timelines and budget requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and oversee the implementation of safety programs.
  • Ensure that quality standards are met and that work is completed to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure that work is completed in accordance with design requirements.
  • Ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and that work is completed in compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
Requirements Essential qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with experience in civil construction preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Experience supervising and coordinating the work of construction workers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Experience managing project budgets and tracking expenses.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to implement safety programs.
Working conditions:
  • Work is performed outdoors at construction sites in all weather conditions.
  • May require long hours and weekend work to meet project timelines.
  • May require travel to project sites.
  • Frequent exposure to loud noise, dust, and fumes.
  • Frequent exposure to hazardous materials and sharp objects.
Physical requirements:
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at heights.
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Must have good vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision.
  • Must have good hearing and be able to communicate effectively in a noisy environment.
  • May be required to lift and move heavy objects and materials.
