We are currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance person for a large-scale private residence and nearby properties. This is a luxury environment requiring an eye for detail, an understanding of different fits/finishes, and excellent customer service skills. Compensation Range: $ 40 - 50/per hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K), PTO, paid holidays, STD/LTD/AD&D, and more! Length of Assignment: Ongoing, initially through 12/31/2025Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.Must have valid Driver's License. Location: Onsite. Bellevue, WA (Eastside) This position is responsible for working in the Facilities Maintenance department and attending primarily to the specialized facilities needs of the family. As such this person will work closely with the household and security departments. Other requirements within the department will be attended to as required and directed by the Facilities Manager. Core Responsibilities:
  • Providing direct support for the Principals and staff as directed.
  • Follow estate worker / vendor safety rules.
  • Assist as assigned in estate-wide preventative maintenance programs.
  • Providing setup and production support for estate events.
  • Provide customized carpentry and architectural metal work requested or directed.
  • Maintaining estate confidentiality.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
    • HVAC - Monitor daily operation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning system and respond to alarms and requests
    • Plumbing - Coordinate as assigned or support the repair of plumbing systems including lavatories, toilets, sinks, faucets, etc
    • Work Orders - Ensuring timely completion of all work orders and providing accurate information to Facilities Manager
    • Site / Building Structures / Docks / Walkways - Assist in identifying all necessary structural repairs and correcting repairs as requested. Complete preventative maintenance on all exterior structures as defined by Facilities Manager.
Education and Experience:
  • 5+ years related building engineer/maintenance and finish carpentry experience required. Additional education may be substituted for some experience.
  • Basic Electronic Certification, preferred
Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of maintenance of commercial and residential mechanical, electrical, HVAC, DDC, plumbing, and fire / life safety systems; finish carpentry; artwork repair and care; electronic diagnosis and repairs.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of service to the operation through responsive work and delivering precise preferences.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive, professional attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
