Job Description

Develop detailed designs for automated machinery, sub-assemblies, and components utilizing CAD software, starting from preliminary concepts. This includes material selection and sourcing commercial components.

Collaborate with suppliers to assess and verify product specifications, functionality, cost-effectiveness, and availability.

Contribute to the conceptualization and planning of automated equipment solutions.

Prepare detailed quotations and proposals for automation projects as required.

Provide leadership and oversight for specific projects, offering strategic input and feedback to ensure successful execution.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements, including modern machine design methodologies, emerging hardware, software, and commercial products.

Requirements

A minimum of a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution is required.

Proficiency in CAD, particularly 3D modeling, is preferred.

Prior experience in designing industrial equipment is highly desirable.

Candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional problem-solving skills will be given additional consideration.
