The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for education, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education.- Valid Indiana teaching license.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students' academic and personal development.- Proficient in using educational technology and digital resources.- Familiarity with educational best practices and curriculum standards.- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians.- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and improvement.Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective lesson plans, taking into account the individual needs and abilities of students.- Deliver lessons using a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter.- Evaluate and assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation.- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and growth.- Establish and maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and positive behavior.- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance curriculum materials and instructional strategies.- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns or achievements.- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest educational trends and techniques.- Attend staff meetings, parent conferences, and other school events as required.- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.- Uphold and enforce school policies, rules, and regulations.Additional tasks may be assigned by the Supervisor dependent upon the program.
