Job Description :
Summary / ObjectiveThe purpose of this position is to successfully manage and execute Industrial Electrical projects to include Heat Tracing. The individual will support a team to complete projects safely and on schedule. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the safety of those on his/her crew and will conduct all operations according to all applicable company and government safety regulations.
  • Responsible for timely completion of work assignments within the estimated costs while meeting customer expectations.
  • Plan wiring and installation of secondary power distribution and heat tracing according to blueprints, schematic drawings and sketches
  • Conduct periodic inspections using test equipment, such as voltmeter and ohmmeter and provide on-site supervision of hazardous or unusual work.
  • Supervises work crews to best utilize manpower and materials, exercises employee discipline, as needed.
  • Performs other related tasks as required and assigned.

  • Skilled in team building, coaching, mentoring, influencing and motivating team members to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
  • Journeyman Electrician (preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License (preferred)
  • Construction: 2 years (preferred)
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring schematics, and electrical instructions (preferred)
  • Ability to travel and work varying shifts as needed to include weekends and overtime
Working Conditions
  • Work is primarily conducted on field project settings, may require occasional travel to client sites.
  • Field duties require outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
  • Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel.
  • Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
  • May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes.
  • May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties.
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively.
  • Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employee to investigations.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permit the employee to perform routine office duties.
  • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations.
  • Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment to include the ability to gain access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
