Position Type: Child Nutrition/4 hr General WorkerDate Posted: 8/28/2024Location: Caesar Rodney School District (District-Wide)Date Available: ASAPClosing Date: Until FilledThis is a part-time, pension eligible position for a General Worker: 4 hours at Caesar Rodney School District. Qualifications: -Excellent physical health / must be able to lift 35 lbs on a recurring basis -High school diploma or GED is required -All applicants must successfully pass a criminal background check -Experience in school food service preferred -Has good interpersonal communication skills. -Is able to understand and follow verbal and written directionsBasic Function: General worker performs duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager that relates to all aspects of Child Nutrition in a fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities: Duties as assigned by Cafeteria Manager. Duties may include laundry, washing dishes, taking temperatures, serving hot and cold foods, putting away deliveries, counting, operating cash registers, prepping menu items, cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
