Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with expertise in ground-up commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and with a focus on safety and quality. You will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed according to design specifications, timelines, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily on-site operations for ground-up commercial construction projects, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Supervise and lead all subcontractors and field personnel, maintaining a safe and productive job site.
  • Ensure all work complies with project plans, specifications, and local building codes.
  • Oversee project timelines, materials, and equipment delivery to ensure alignment with project schedules.
  • Implement and enforce site safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Conduct regular site meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
  • Troubleshoot on-site challenges and provide proactive solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate daily logs, progress reports, and other necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up commercial construction.
  • Proven experience in overseeing a wide range of commercial projects, including retail, office buildings, medical facilities, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
