Job Description :

MRE Consulting is looking for a dynamic and experienced Professional Services Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing sales opportunities across multiple industries, focusing on professional services and technology consulting.

What does a Professional Services Sales Manager do?Business Development
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Cultivate new business opportunities through various channels, focusing on clients seeking professional services and technology consulting services.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Qualify leads and advance them through the sales pipeline, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Sales Team and Leadership to promote deals and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed annual sales targets for the Division's professional services.
Consultative Sales
  • Solution Selling: Understand client needs and design tailored solutions that address their challenges and drive business results, particularly in the areas of program/project management and data strategy.
  • Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of industry strategies and business plans, focusing on professional services and technology solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Partner with subject matter experts to validate solutions and communicate confidently in your ability to deliver.
Account Management
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, focusing on their projects and technology consulting needs.
  • Account Growth: Identify cross-selling opportunities and expand existing accounts by offering additional professional services and technology consulting services.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure successful delivery of projects and programs, providing governance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
  • People Management: Manage account escalations and ensure that team members are set up for success.
Whoyou are and what you've accomplished:
  • Proven history in sales, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in selling professional services and technology consulting services.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
  • Willingness to collaborate with Sales and Technical/Functional colleagues on Sales pursuits.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings and conferences.
  • Proven organizational skills, with a growth mindset and initiative-taker attitude.
  • Personable with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Consulting experience is a plus.
  • Must reside in a commutable distance to the Greater Houston, Texas area. Candidates in Dallas Fort Worth, Austin, or San Antonio will also be considered.
