Our client is seeking to hire a Manufacturing Process Engineer. This role, the candidate is responsible for designing, defining, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with manufacturing methods, process development, and a strong understanding of engineering principles, including ITAR/EAR compliance.Key responsibilities:- Process design and implementation: Design and plan manufacturing processes, specifying and overseeing the installation of new equipment and systems- Project management: Coordinate equipment build schedules, monitor vendor progress, and ensure timely completion- Process improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes, focusing on reducing labor, equipment, and production costs while enhancing efficiency- Cost estimation: Determine manufacturing costs for new product quotes by estimating required labor and resources- Operational support: Develop method instruction sheets and train supervisors and process specialists on optimal operating procedures for both new and existing products- Ergonomics: Apply ergonomic principles to method designs and equipment layouts to ensure safety and efficiency- Compliance: Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations and the company's technology control plan and federal export control policyQualifications:- Experience with manufacturing processes and PLC programming- Proficiency in CAD, mechanical, manufacturing, and industrial engineering- Strong problem-solving, communication, and instructional skills- Ability to think creatively and provide advisory support in process development and improvementThis opportunity combines a commitment to impactful work with an exceptional benefits package and a unique workplace culture.
