Position Summary:

ITT Goulds Pumps is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to join their team on 2nd Shift in Seneca Falls, NY. This is a hands on supervisory role that is ultimately responsible for the shipping area and internal movement of products within the Seneca Falls Operations. The Logistics Supervisor is competent in best practices and can ensure the proper operation of warehousing and shipping areas. Standard hours will be Monday through Friday from 3:30pm-12am.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership that drives operational excellence, continual improvement, and teamwork throughout the business unit; Executes day-to-day operations of the warehouse and shipping areas, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to safety.
  • Oversees and assists with warehouse auditing and cycle counts as needed
  • Applies lean principles to warehouse processes, material movement process flows and inventory control
  • Position is ultimately responsible for overseeing all shipping of outgoing orders, receiving of incoming freight, inspection and part number verification, quantity verification and stocking of product in appropriate locations as well as shipping correct quantities to the correct locations/internal customers including verification of correct documentation and part rev levels
  • Works with company SAP system to ensure accurate reporting of transactions, locations, stock levels etc.
  • Works cross functionally with manufacturing, purchasing, planning and leadership to ensure appropriate stock levels and shipments/deliveries
  • Participate in any lean and continuous improvement training or projects
Position Requirements:
  • HSD/GED is required
  • 5+ years of warehouse management/shipping experience in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Prior experience managing others is required
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system is required (ERP implementation experience preferred, fully integrated ERP experience is also preferred)
  • Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be motivated and a self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Must be able to interface in a professional manner with customers
  • Must be able to manage others while being a hands on supervisor

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations. Equal Pay Act Range: Annual Salary Range $76,700 to $115,000 plus benefits and incentive plans.
