Job Summary:
This position is a field based role and will travel daily to job sites in Central New York State.
Current job sites are: Mayfield NY, Lowville NY, Middletown NY and Sidney NY.
Responsibilities
* Broom/Shovel work assisting crew in underground utility construction.
* Assist crew members in trenching, digging, pulling and removing material.
* Operate power equipment for demolition, concrete removal, grading, truck/dumpster loading, site clean-up and other general tasks using company and/or rental equipment.
* Monitor and maintain condition of company equipment.
* Loads and unload trucks and haul/hoist materials.
* Participate in daily job briefing and safety meetings.
Qualifications
* Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects; with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
* Must be able to wear all required personal safety equipment.
* A valid drivers license is required.
* Pre-Employment Drug Testing.
* Must be available for overtime weekday and/or weekend.
* Labor experience in utilities, preferred but not required.
Starting Hourly rate is $24.59
