They will be tasked with developing and collaborating on innovative curriculum building that integrates agricultural concepts into educational activities.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for nurturing healthy lifestyles and communication skills that foster collaboration among schools, farmers, and the community.Essential FunctionsEssential Functions:Key responsibilities include facilitating partnerships with local like minded organizations, leading curriculum building and planning for participant activity, and coordinating local schools and community after school programs. The coordinator will engage students and educators in experiential learning opportunities centered around sustainable agriculture, nutrition, and environmental awareness. The coordinator will also take the lead in social media outreach.QualificationsAvailability for afternoon hours is essential to accommodate school schedules and to oversee after-school programs related to agriculture and food education.
