Summary See below for important information regarding this job. Responsibilities Serve as a Senior Action Officer for J64 TFS DCD On/Off-Boarding and Transfers PMO. Responsible for coordinating, developing, and maintaining current/future plans and operations. Incumbent gathers, evaluates, and reports J64 operational information across J64 TFS, other J6 Enterprise Service Areas (ESAs)... ...and J6 HQs senior leaders to ensure J6 strategic goals and initiatives are consistent, relevant, and synchronized across the enterprise. Develops, gathers, analyzes, and reports PMO performance metrics and other critical data to identify trends and assess effectiveness to ensure strategic initiatives and activities within the J64 and J6 HQs are meeting performance targets. Preparation and delivery of briefings to senior leadership and other stakeholders to inform and persuade senior leadership, both military and civilian, to support J6 mission and objectives. Drafts memoranda, policy instructions, or internal reports on a variety of subjects regarding J64 operations. Develops and establishes short, mid, and long-range planning objectives and priorities into J64 strategic, operational, and technical planning in consonance with DLA J6 goals, DLA goals, stakeholder requirements, and DoD directives. Plans, schedules, and conducts a variety of IT initiatives in support of J64 operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for an IT Operations Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must include: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, precedents, DLA policies and procedures applicable to functional and administrative areas such as: contracting, finance and accounting, budget, counsel, and information management, etc., to coordinate, facilitate, and resolve PMO issues. Mastery level knowledge of Information Technology (IT) principles, security concepts and DLA J6 operations as related to timely execution and integration of J6 programs, projects, and initiatives. Knowledge of analytical techniques to resolve difficult issues and problems with work methods, data management, and operational procedures. Develops and maintains account control procedures that include but are not limited to inactive accounts, suspended accounts, accounts of terminated employees, contractor and guest employees. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
