As a Plastipak Recruiter, you are a brand ambassador, engaging with plant manufacturing talent pools and Shelby County area community partners to showcase all that Plastipak has to offer. You'll leverage your expertise as a Recruiter to attract qualified candidates and hire talented associates to the Plastipak Jackson Center and Lima manufacturing sites.
You Will
Leverage a variety of tools, channels and mediums to proactively attract quality plant manufacturing candidates to Plastipak.
Screen candidates, swiftly advancing talent through the interview & selection process, as well as successfully securing offers & clearing new hires to start.
Manage candidate experience, responding promptly to candidate inquiries & clearly communicating with all candidates in a respectful manner.
Represent Plastipak in the community, participating in events to promote Plastipak as an employer of choice.
Use Workday to facilitate the recruiting process & maintain accurate & compliant records.
Collaborate with the team to evaluate and improve talent acquisition processes
You Have
A bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Human Resources, Marketing or Communications.
A minimum of two (2) years of recruiting experience with a solid track record of screening and qualifying candidates for semi-skilled & skilled positions in a manufacturing operation.
Proven success generating talent through community-based channels. Existing relationships with associations & institutions in the area is a plus.
Previous exposure to the employee side of human resources, including onboarding & HR administration (preferred).
Proficiency with recruitment technology, including Applicant Tracking Systems (we use Workday), communication platforms and recruiting via career hubs & social platforms.
