Seeking: Tax / Financial Accountant / CPA

Smith & Sem Ltd, in Fergus Falls Minnesota, is looking to add a full-time Tax/Financial Accountant to our growing team. The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2+ years prior work experience. CPA License preferred, but not required. Prior experience in public accounting as well as knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus. Duties include general accounting, financial statement work, and tax preparation. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, work well under pressure, and have the ability to meet numerous deadlines. They must be able to manage their time well and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Other skills needed include strong computer skills, a good working knowledge of standard office technology and equipment, and general office procedures.
