Job Title: CNC Press Brake OperatorCompany: Dynatect Manufacturing, IncLocation: New Berlin, WIPay Range: $25-$30- commensurate with experience

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a CNC Press Brake, including Cincinnati hydraulic presses, to form various materials and parts to meet blueprint specifications. You will ensure the safe and accurate operation of machinery while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 3+ years of CNC Press Brake experience and a solid understanding of CNC programming for brake presses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC Press Brake to form materials according to blueprint specifications.
  • Program CNC controls using console buttons and commands based on blueprints and work orders.
  • Read and understand work orders to determine machine adjustments, material requirements, and necessary operations.
  • Measure workpiece dimensions to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished products as needed.
  • Enter job details into the ERP system upon job completion or when transitioning between tasks.
  • Assist in lean production practices and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and report malfunctions to the maintenance team or management.
  • Work closely with engineering, team leaders, and management to address any production or blueprint-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience operating CNC Press Brake, with a preference for familiarity with Cincinnati hydraulic presses.
  • Solid understanding of CNC programming for press brake operations.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, job orders, and interpreting work specifications.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and understand rulers, decimals, and other measurement systems to ensure product accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to monitor equipment performance to prevent downtime.
  • Ability to multitask and perform additional duties as assigned by team leaders and management.
  • Demonstrated focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all tasks.
