Apply Now!● Qualifications/Requirements:● In this position, you will fill a unique role as a software developer/programmer serving as a vital asset to United States Air Force (USAF) training. You will directly enhance training for over 100K Air Force, Navy, Army, Marine Corps students annually. Your responsibilities and duties include focusing on developing, enhancing, and maintaining Interactive Multimedia Instructions (IMI) products; coding in various software languages, software development using the AGILE process, and work with content producers & designers to modify, write, and debug software projects. ● Knowledge of software design principles methods and approaches.● Knowledge of system software and systems development life cycles, including systems documentation, design development, configuration management cost analysis, systems integration, and testing.● Knowledge of IT applications software concepts, principles, methods and practices.● Knowledge of Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 requirements for federal agencies to make their information and communication technology (ICT) accessible to people with disabilities.● Knowledge of the basics of software programming languages such as HTML, VISUAL BASIC, XML, C++, C#, and development tools such as Flash and Dreamweaver.● Ability to analyze organizational application software requirements to develop supportable recommendations for enhancement, apply Computer-aided software engineering (CASE) tools, and design, write, code, debug, test and maintain applications.● Extensive knowledge of Flash and Flash object programming.● HIGHLY DESIRED:Knowledge of training administration, policies, and procedures, including the principles, practices, and techniques of instruction.● PREFERRED: UNITY, C#, C++, Unreal Engine, Unity Gaming Engine, and JavaScript.● You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.● Your application package (resume, supporting documents) will be used to determine your eligibility, and qualifications.● Click the apply button to complete an application and upload resume (PDF or Word Doc) and/or additional documents (Transcripts, certifications, Vet Docs (DD214), SF-50).● To receive additional information about current and future job openings with AFCS via email notification, please subscribe at www.Afciviliancareers.com and sign up to “Get Career Updates.”● AFCS is Equal Opportunity Employer.
