Job DescriptionJob Description Position: Field Service Representative Classification: Non-Exempt/HourlyJob Summary: The Field Service Representative's main duty is to carry out job-specific tasks related to integrated products. These tasks will be performed either at customer sites or at the company's plant, working with other employees and subcontractors to meet job requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed. Other duties may be assigned. Assess project resource needs and coordinate assignments with personnel and subcontractors. Communicate technical job requirements, ensuring tasks are understood and tools are available. Support Field Services Manager and Service Leads in planning and organizing job assignments to ensure effective asset utilization. Support plans and processes to minimize project costs through efficient use of equipment, facilities, and materials. Ensure business objectives and production schedules are met while maintaining product standards that exceed customer expectations. Execute assignments from start to finish in compliance with company practices and procedures. Work at the facility to complete enclosures scheduled for shipment when no travel is required. Review and acknowledge proper project handoff from Field or Plant supervisor. Participate in job preparation meetings to discuss work scope, project specifications, budgets, schedules, and safety requirements. Communicate with other departments to ensure activities are properly coordinated. Review task-related engineering documentation and update administration for follow-up. Utilize communication tools such as Office 365 Teams, Planner, and Outlook to provide daily status updates. Ensure timely and accurate time and expense reporting. Expedite and resolve issues regarding material and equipment availability. Contain material, equipment, and vehicle costs by eliminating wasteful practices and implementing control measures. Maintain inventory records of materials, equipment, and supplies returned from sites.Additional Responsibilities: Support performance evaluations, identify training needs, and recommend action plans for meeting performance expectations. Communicate regularly with Field Service Manager regarding staffing needs, objectives, issues, and open projects. Schedule vehicle maintenance and coordinate payment. Perform onsite startup checks and verification activities for integrated products. Troubleshoot enclosure and tank-related activities for integrated products.Minimum Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of five years of field-related experience. Must have strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills for interacting with management, technical support staff, suppliers, and customers. Safety: Knowledge of OSHA 10, NFPA70E, First Aid, and CPR certifications. Reasoning Development: Ability to follow instructions in written or oral form and solve problems involving several variables. Mathematical Development: Ability to add, subtract, and divide all units of measure. Language Development: Ability to read company manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; communicate clearly and confidently in English. Education: College preferred; High School Diploma required. Licensures and Certifications: Not required. Training: Willing to perform work at the company's facility for up to four weeks to receive hands-on training specific to enclosure and tank systems. Travel: Assignments may range from 1 day to 2 weeks onsite without a return trip home. Must accommodate flexible scheduling.
