**Job Title: Construction Materials Tester**
**Job Description**
Looking for a CMT to go to a job site and test the concrete, asphalt, and soil for commercial construction projects. This is an entry-level position, although candidates with previous inspecting experience arewelcome. Responsibilities include using a Nuclear Density Gauge to check soil compaction and using concrete cylinders to complete air and slump testing. Certifications such as Nuc Density Gauge and ACI certification are preferred. Field-based testing experience, preferably in a geotechnical or engineering firm, is required with a minimum of 6 months.

**Work Site**
This is a fully on-site position in Omaha, Nebraska.
**Work Environment**
The work will be performed out in the field, involving dirt and poured concrete. Candidates will work in various conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow, with long hours. A typical work week is 6 days during the summer, sometimes with 10-12 hour days. Winter hours may slow down to 32-40 hours per week, but candidates must be trained and ready for the busy season in spring. Dress code includes steel toe boots and a t-shirt. Safety gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves will be provided. Start times vary from 6:30 AM-7:30 AM to 6:30 PM or 7 PM depending on concrete pours, with average hours from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. Candidates will use a company truck to reach job sites, and return the truck at the end of the day.
