Home Health Aide Training Class - Paid Training ProgramPay Rate: Days: $15.00 We are looking for compassionate, caring and dedicated individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in Healthcare as a Home Health Aide working at Samaritan Summit Village in Watertown, NY. Samaritan Summit Village is happy to announce a PAID Home Health Aide training program starting in January with facility orientation. This 3-week program will require a time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week. Classes are Monday-Friday from 8a-4:30p. Students will be paid $15.00 per hour for the training class. The selected students will be required to participate in an interview and selection process and if selected, must pass a drug screening, health assessment as well as a background check and reference screening. A High School Diploma, GED or high school level of knowledge of education. Must be 18 years old. At the successful completion of the program and State exam, students will be entered into the NYS Home Health Aide Registry and be eligible to apply to our Home Health Aide positions to work at Samaritan Summit Village-Assisted Living Facility. As a Home Health Aide employee of Samaritan Summit Village, candidates must be able to work any shift and have an interest in part-time or full-time positions either evenings or nights. Samaritan Summit Home Health Aides do NOT drive to clients homes; they work directly at the facility. Home Health aides also work every other weekend.
