Job Summary:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist with BAUER Foundation Corp, you will be responsible for helping develop and execute recruitment strategies tailored to the unique needs of the construction industry. You will partner with hiring managers to attract, assess, and secure top talent in technical and field roles, ensuring that staffing aligns with project timelines and operational goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Broad knowledge of the business to ensure talent identified is aligned with the right opportunities based on business demands and candidate preference.

• Strategically and proactively sources passive and active candidates to build and maintain a quality talent pipeline for current and future workforce needs.

• Assess applicant/candidate quality, skills, and fit to identify the best candidate for a position.

• Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.

• Builds and maintains relationships with potential candidates, recruitment agencies, and associations.

• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

• Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.

• Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.

• Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

• Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

• Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software within Paylocity, and LinkedIn Recruiting.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.

• Willingness to travel.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.

• Minimum of three years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a preference for experience in construction or engineering industries.

• SHRM-CP, or PHR preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
