Core Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician:
- Read and understand engineering drawings to Assemble and Wire Hot Runner components.
- Set up and Assemble Molds/Hot Runners in a timely manner, meet deadlines.
- Produce high quality products.
- Check all Assembled parts to the dimensions specified on the engineering drawing and conform to all certification requirements.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Work to verbal and written instructions.
- Support an environment of growth and enthusiasm with other associates.
Qualifications:
- 5 years' experience in plastics manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of electrical wiring schematics
- Ability to work independently.
- Good math skills
- Know and understand Quality at the Source
- Understand and practice safe working methods
- Basic understanding of tools
- Be willing to work to ISO / QS 9000 standards and have a commitment to continuousimprovement
Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or G E D

- Molding assembly experience: 2 years (Preferred)
