Serving Rockbridge County and Bath County, & Cities of Buena Vista and Lexington, VirginiaROCKBRIDGE AREA COMMUNITY SERVICESRACS is currently seeking a motivated, qualified individual to work in one of our area residential group homes located in Lexington, Buena Vista, and Millboro, VA. RACS will provide training, supervision, and education opportunities specific to the position.Agency Overview:

We have been providing services throughout Rockbridge and Bath counties and the cities of Lexington and Buena Vista since 1982.Position Overview:

Requires direct care assistance to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, providing direct physical and/or verbal support with all areas of daily living (bathing, dressing, incontinence support, food preparation, and housekeeping), providing support with recreational activities, completing daily documentation, and administering medication.Qualifications:

• High school graduate/GED preferred.
• Experience working with adults that have developmental disabilities required.
• CNA experience desired but not required.
• Excellent communication, computer, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Must be energetic, positive, enthusiastic, and able to solve routine problems and adapt well to change.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record per RACS policy.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
