Job Description Purpose To maintain a controlled process and organized flow of materials through planning, coordinating, and communicating the outbound and inbound shipping schedule. Duties Facilitate product movement to and from 3PL warehousing. Coordination of shipments on daily basis Work with Customer Service on special needs Export paperwork Enter shipping data into computer Shipping confirmations Material transfers 5S File shipping bills of lading and receipt bills of lading in appropriate locations. Enter product into Marshall Inventory as required. Perform any task as directed by the Department Manager or team leader to support in clerical areas of plant operations. Comply with all policies and procedures, e.g., work rules, quality, GMP, GFSI, etc. Skills and Job Requirements Effective inter-personal communication, and team skills. This includes, but is not limited to; interaction with shipping agents, drivers, outside warehousing personnel, expediters, shipping personnel and local / corporate personnel involved in distribution of raw materials and finished products. Excellent clerical / organizational skills. Knowledge of word processing, spread sheet, e-mail and fax applications. Basic computer operating knowledge and internet operations. Must submit to and pass a drug and alcohol screening test. AS400 and/or SAP Knowledge preferred Willing to complete any required in-house training or outside training/seminars as directed by management.
