Job Overview: Software Engineer, Java Developer We are looking for a highly motivated Java Developer, with substantial high-volume transactional system design and implementation experience. The optimal candidate will have a proven track record of working with business, functional, and technical teams to implement and support solutions to meet business objectives. This person will work closely with technical leads in developing enterprise class applications, and must have a good understanding of, and practical production experience with, distributed Java enterprise application development. The candidate would be an integral part of the design and development of current and future Loftware products and is expected to contribute to the broader growth and company culture. Qualifications and Technical Experience: -BS in Computer Science or Engineering. -3+ years of Java development, preferably with a focus on enterprise applications -Knowledge of object-oriented design and development -Understanding of usability concepts, with the ability to quickly prototype new ideas. -Experience with Apache Tomcat, J2EE Application Servers and databases. -Basic knowledge of Hibernate, Spring Framework, JUnit. -Familiar with Java Design Patterns -Basic knowledge of SQL Additional Preferred Skills: -Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment. -Strong multi-tasking ability and organizational skills. -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. -Ability to Speak Cantonese a plus Location: Hybrid, Portsmouth, New Hampshire We win with inclusion At Loftware, inclusion, diversity, and belonging are paramount to our success and our culture.
