Communications and College Relations Specialist (HEOa)
POSITION DETAILS
* In collaboration with the CPS Associate Director develop annual marketing and recruitment initiatives that aim to increase student enrollment and accomplish the missions and goals of CPS and course revenues through highly strategic marketing and recruitment campaigns.
* Cultivate and strengthen partnerships, external relations, and collaborations with community leaders, NYC agencies, civic and community-based organizations, and local businesses to promote certificate programs and build brand awareness with diverse communities, including various ethnic and immigrant groups.
* Work with CPS Associate Director and budgeting staff to develop, align campaign with, and execute revenue growth strategies, with a principal focus on partnerships. Monitor job market, student feedback, community training needs, demands and trends.
* Assistant and coordinate with the Associate Director and program staff on improving the CPS brand and CPS public image within the CUNY system, continuing education networks on social media outlets and traditional media outlets (radio, print and broadcasting).
* Align website design and promotional campaigns with CUNY and CPS objectives and strategy. Optimize existing flyers and develop new ones and other programs materials, such as e-newsletters using Canvas and MailChimp.
* Assist the CPS Associate Director in developing a portfolio of PowerPoint presentations for community engagement and workshops, external relations, and direct outreach.
* Assist the CPS Associate Director in developing creating a process improvement and evaluation methodology to measure effectiveness of marketing strategy, community outreach, and partnerships
* Work on multiple, concurrent engagements and provide regular updates to CPS leadership and staff, as well external partners and CCNY programs and departments
* Optimize use of CPS mailing lists, CUNY electronic platforms for information and communication with applicants, teachers and staff
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience.

* Serves as a liaison to one or more external organizations, representing the College and building working relationships with the leadership of these organizations
* Plans and implements communications campaigns, working with publications staff

* Plans public activities and contributes to marketing of College activities and programs to external groups
* With College publications and editorial personnel, plans, writes, and produces publicity materials and other external communications
* May maintain relationships with media representatives
* Performs related duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $70,238 - $82,928.Salary commensurate with education and experience.
