Highway Maintenance Supervisor to perform and oversee highway maintenance operations in the Houston, TX area. The position is based in Porter, TX and is responsible for maintenance work program and scheduling, and highway maintenance and construction activities. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance, including but not limited to the supervision of crews performing debris removal, guardrail repair, maintenance of traffic, and other activities. Adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen company policies and procedures is required.Required Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of highway construction maintenance industry related experience
- Basic knowledge Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Earth Strong
- Leadership qualities; must have experience in overseeing, directing and leading construction crews.
- Strong organizational skills for timesheets and inventory tracking, scheduling & work planning as well as oversight of maintenance crews to ensure work execution/completion
- Roadway or guardrail maintenance experience
- Concrete forming/repair experience
- Wheel Loader, Skidsteer, ForkLift, Asphalt Roller, etc operator
