Position Overview:We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in addiction treatment or a strong desire to work in this rewarding field. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, the RN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring a supportive and therapeutic environment for our residents. Responsibilities:- Conduct initial assessments and screenings of patients upon admission to determine medical needs and develop individualized care plans.- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and behavior closely to assess response to treatment and identify any potential complications.- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and support services.- Provide education to patients about addiction, recovery, and wellness strategies.- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance skills and contribute to program development. Qualifications:- Valid RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in addiction treatment, behavioral health, or related field.- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.- Understanding of addiction and recovery principles is desirable but not required.
