What is a Material Handler?A Material Handler is responsible for loading/unloading hazardous materials from and onto tank trucks, box vans, railcars, and other shipping containers. What do I have to do?
- Daily involvement with material handling activities such as loading and unloading tankers, box vans, and other transportation vessels.
- Plant housekeeping activities including but not limited to cleaning, painting, and lawn maintenance (mowing/weed eating).
- Conducting physical inventory
- Complete documents
- Collect samples
- Assist plant Operations personnel as instructed.
- Abide by the principles in the EHS&S mission statement.
- Responsibilities and training outlined in the RCRA Hazwaste Job Duties Matrix
- Pass the fit for duty requirements
- Abide by ORG Chem Group's quality policy.

RequirementsDo I have to have experience? No previous experience required, however, you must be able to effectively read, write, and understand and complete required training for specific projects or processes.
