Clinical SupervisorPosition Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of clinical staff.Responsibilities: Acts as a clinical resource for team in daily problem solvingEnsures appropriate patient assessment and treatmentResponsible for coordination of care and education for patientsProvides procedural oversight, if applicableParticipates in quality assurance and quality improvement projects that are identifiedEstablishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operationsParticipates in Regulatory Compliance training and activitiesEnsures compliance with established regulations and standards including quality improvement projects, quality assurance, and confidentiality and EHR documentationReviews and evaluates the work and performance of subordinatesHas authority for personnel actions and oversees most day-to-day operations of groupLeads and directs the work of othersA wide degree of creativity and latitude is expectedRelies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsPerforms other related duties as assignedFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the fieldRegular and predictable attendance is an essential job functionCompetent to meet age specific needs of the unit assignedRequirements and Minimum Requirements: BSN required Graduate of a nationally accredited Nursing programState of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the multistate privilege to practice compact with Idaho3 years of healthcare experience required3 years of experience as a charge nurse, manager, clinical instructor or supervisor in a setting related to clinical program preferredACLS requiredBLS requiredAbout Kootenai Health:Kootenai Health is a highly esteemed healthcare organization serving patients throughout northern Idaho and the Inland Northwest.
