The company currently has an opportunity for a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer. Duties:- Read engineering drawings and specifications in order to understand HVAC systems and prepare commissioning scripts for testing various designs from an equipment level to a full system level.- Perform field surveys, investigations, reviews of installed or existing equipment and produce documents for reporting findings.- Work in close contact with a project's design team, construction contractors/subcontractors, equipment manufacturer vendors and client representatives.- Commissioning of HVAC systems for a variety of projects under the supervision of a Senior Commissioning Engineer.- Create plans, schematics, equipment selection, load calculations, systems narratives and specifications, system design and layout and controls.- Perform some design work on CAD system. - Provide engineering support for senior engineering staff.Formal on the job training will be provided along with shadowing of senior level techs. Compensation: Commensurate with experience: base pay plus overtime at time and half and a full comprehensive benefits package. This position requires 30% travel. Monday through Friday day-to-day travel to customer sites.
