Position Summary:
If you are looking to truly make an impact in an under-served area, this would be a great opportunity. Spanish bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.
Practitioner will interview patients and construct comprehensive medical histories. Provides appropriate patient education by explaining the diagnosis and treatment plan. Instructs patients about health maintenance and preventive care. Provides continuity of care. Directly performs or orders appropriate diagnostic studies and interprets finished results.
Oversees the maintenance of adequate, concise, legible and up-to-date documentation of patient care. Makes note of problem medical, medication and discharge records, drug allergies, lab orders, subjective and objective data, diagnostic procedures, patient education and treatment.
Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards.
Education:
•Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
Work Experience:
•Two years relevant Family Practice, clinic experience: Preferred
